Driving economic transformation in Africa requires strong global partnerships for investment promotion and technology innovation. The African women ambassadors to the Nordic Region of Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and most times Iceland are playing this pivotal role effectively., ensuring that streams of direct foreign investments land in their different countries in Africa. Surely a strategic move to have women as Ambassadors in Scandinavia, some African presidents truely know the importance of women in moving mountains, as results speak clearly for themselves.

By leveraging their diplomatic networks, these women ambassadors promote investment opportunities in their different African countries, and the ease of doing business, enticing multinational companies to flood their way. They say the woman touch is soft but powerful, and that is testament to that touch. In the Nordic region, women are powerful, and command equal rights.

Some of the powerful women Ambassadors in the Nordics representig their countries and driving developments to Africa are Ambassador Kianbuthi Diana from Kenya, Ambassador Dian Gashumba from Rwanda, Ambassador Brigitte Mabandla from South-Africa, Ambassador Neven Lundwe from Zambia, Ambassador Priscila Misihairabwi Mushonga from Zimbabwe, Ambassador Grace Alfred Olotu from Tanzania. And there are two new additions in the persons of Ambassador Cecilia De Conceicao Caldeira Rosario from Angola, and Ambassador Juliana Angela Dube-Gobotswang from Botswana. These women are the driving forces to the investments coming into Africa, and their roles have not gone unnoticed.
